Premium Package Price Increase Now in Effect​

As of August 3, 2026, the MyRental Premium package is $38.99 per transaction—a $1.00 increase from the previous price of $37.99.

App ID Added to Identity Verification Failure Popup and Email Notification​

The TransUnion App ID, which already appears on the identity verification failure screen, now also appears in the failure popup and email notification, making it easier for applicants to reference their application when reaching out for support.

When an applicant's identity verification does not pass, their TransUnion App ID appears alongside the TransUnion support phone number, making it easier for them to get help.

Premium Package Price Update​

South Carolina Statewide Search Surcharge Update​

Effective July 1, 2026, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) increases its surcharge for South Carolina Statewide Searches by $0.43. The total surcharge is $26.43 per search.

Phone Number Field​

A phone number is required for all TransUnion credit screening requests in MyRental.

MyRental Report Updates from TransUnion​

We've updated MyRental dashboard report availability and refreshed score factor language to align with TransUnion requirements.

Criminal Status Display Update​

When recommended criminal searches were not run for an application, the status now displays as Clear instead of Not Available.

Standalone Credit/Criminal Report Options​

The system no longer allows both a credit and a criminal standalone report to be requested in the same transaction. This ensures the correct criminal report is generated based on the applicant's address.

As of June 4, 2025, non-conviction criminal records are not reported within MyRental Criminal Reports. Additional surcharges and court fees apply when applicable.
